NES IT department is glad to announce that Eviews ver.7 is available for students in all acomputer classrooms. 
A complete set of reference material s is available at NES Library.  


Evaluations drafts in my.nes

My.nes system has a new feature: evaluations drafts save button. Now you can leave the evaluation and carry on next time you log in. The system will restore the unfinished evaluation from the saved draft. The button “Save draft” is available near the button “Submit evaluation”. 
Same as before: NES guarantees anonymity of the evaluations as well as their drafts.

Subscriptions remote access

NES IT Dept would like to remind you that new regulations for remote access to JSTOR and SCIENCEDIRECT have been applied effective the beginning of this year. Now you can access these subscriptions not only from NES local network. To get the access credentials, please, come to IT dept office  (1717-6) till FEB 28th 2010.

NES IT Dept and NES Library are happy to announce that web-catalog has been re-launched and is now available for everyone.and from Internet as well. 
You can access it via link on NES web-site main page (grey section, under “Don Patinkin Library”) or by the address beginning Feb. 06th .

Stata ver.11 available!

NES IT Dept is happy to announce that Stata ver. 11 is available in all computer classrooms beginning Feb. 3 
You will find Stata 11 shortcut in Math&Econometrics programs folder once logged to NES network.

FireFox distribution

Upon NES students requests IT Dept is distributing preinstalled  Mozilla FireFox, customized to work in NES network.
You can download it here or from network share \\stud\incoming\Firefox_portable
Just download the archive, unzip it to your home network drive (diskY:\) and it's ready to use.
